Coach Tay Stanley – Head Basketball Coach, Hoover High Girls Basketball

Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Coach Tay brings over 5 years of coaching and playing experience to the Lady Cards basketball program. He has dedicated his career to developing athletes on and off the court through discipline, teamwork, and a passion for the game.

Before joining the Lady Cards, Coach Tay served as assistant coach at Madison High School, where he led the team to playoff appearances, player scholarships, and a league championship. Known for his strategic approach, emphasis on fundamentals, and commitment to player development, he has built a reputation as a coach who inspires excellence.

Off the court, Coach Tay holds a degree in Business Management from Albany State and is passionate about developing our youth to being great citizens on and off the court. He believes that success in basketball mirrors success in life—built through hard work, resilience, and teamwork.
