Contact Coach

I’m coach Will Gray. I am the Varsity Football Head Coach. This is my 5th year at Hoover, and my 22nd year over all coaching at all levels from youth thru High School. My coaching philosophy is to build student athletes and give them the tools to succeed in life, not just on the football. In my coaching career I have had the pleasure of sending multiple players to college at all levels from D1 – D3 and a few reaching the pro level. Being an Air Force Veteran we have a big focus on paying attention to detail while allowing the players to enjoy and excel in the sport they love. On offense I am a spread formation coach, and on defense I am a pressure person. I am a San Diego native and proud to represent HooRyde in our quest for a championship.
