Sean Phongsavad
Sean Phongsavad aka Coach P to the students is in his third year as Head Coach of the Hoover Girls Flag Football program, where he was named Hoover’s 2024–25 Coach of the Year for his leadership and impact.

He also teaches Physical Education at Hoover High School and serves as an Assistant Coach for the Boys Varsity Basketball team after four years with the Girls Basketball program.

Coach P is passionate about developing strong, confident student-athletes and creating a culture of hard work, respect, and growth on and off the field.
