Boys basketball Head Coach Derke Crenshaw

Coach Crenshaw is a San Diego native who has been apart of our Hoover community since 2023 he quickly embraced the sports lifestyle and began assisting wherever there was a need. He has been a coach for various levels of basketball, including Travel and AAU. Former assistant coach and head coach for our lady cards during the Miller era 23/24 league champs, 24/25 2 round playoff appearance now year 1 leading the boys basketball team. Going into my 4th year of coaching I believe that dedication, commitment and consistency is key to building our program up. My goal is to inspire, and help young athletes develop the skills needed to play basketball at a high level, while also teaching them life lessons.
